About Redwood Compliance LLC

My career began at Deloitte & Touche LLP in the San Francisco/San Jose area – basically the North and South Poles of Silicon Valley. At Deloitte, I assisted with SOX audits and covered business and IT controls. At Deloitte, I also got my start in software license management around IBM and other software vendors. I moved to Oracle’s License Management Servers (LMS) group for a few years where I performed license audits and also worked on the team that developed their audit tools and methodologies.

I started Redwood Compliance LLC in 2016 to help companies get the best value out of their Oracle investment. Along the way – thanks to popular demand – we added capabilities for Microsoft, IBM and Quest license management. Lately, it’s our expertise around IT/cloud cost management and migration planning that’s most in demand. Our clients need help figuring out much to spend on cloud and optimize the current spend, backed by detailed cost and pricing assessments – we are here to help!

I have Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Engineering, and an MBA (Internal Audit) from Louisiana State University. I live in San Jose, California, with my amazing wife and three wonderful kids.

At Redwood Compliance, we have developed a strong team of subject matter experts that includes former software auditors from either the major accounting firms or the software vendors themselves. A key ingredient that makes us special is our emphasis technical development – our comprehensive suite of proprietary, in-house developed software allows us to perform complex engagements spanning thousands of servers across any mix of infrastructure. We are able to map planned and existing deployments across major cloud vendors to facilitate cost comparisons to aid in cost reduction and contract negotiation.
